There’s a lot written about manifesting, but how can you start to incorporate it into your daily life? You know it’s about focusing on what you want, being positive and so on. But what can you do to practice this?
Most of us have so much going on around us, that it’s hard to focus. You may have work, family demanding your attention and then scrolling through social media during the day. When do you have time to just focus on manifesting your goals?!
One wonderful, simple way is Segment Intending which is written about in the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks. This allows you to begin to focus on parts of your day and give intent on how you want it to unfold.
Most of us have segments in a day. For example, you get up and get ready, maybe commute to work, take the kids to school. Maybe you have a meeting or presentation at work. Maybe you’re going to do some exercise. These are your segments.
For each segment in your day, you can set the intent on how you want it to unfold and how you want to feel during it.
This signals to the Universe how you want that part of your day to go, and so this is what you attract. Simple eh 😊 But as ever, it takes practice to get into the habit of doing this.
Let’s say you’re meeting a client with work. You could set the intent that the meeting will go well, that you’ll be confident in what you say and that the outcome will benefit you both. Or if you’re exercising, you could say you’ll have lots of energy while you do it and you’ll feel wonderful afterwards and it will benefit your body greatly.
When you wake up and as you’re lying in bed, you could say, “Today I’m going to have a great day and have lots of energy throughout the day to get everything done.”
Can you see that you’re setting the intent and letting the Universe know how each segment of your day will go – you are becoming the manifestor of your life.
The main thing will be to identify the segments in each day and ask yourself how you want them to go. You could carry a notebook or write notes in your phone for how you want each part of your day to go.
With segment intending, it’s getting into the habit of actually segmenting your day and setting the intent for each one that is the hard part. Once this becomes a habit, it’s easy for you to know that you can manifest your life.
You could say that for every drive or journey you make, however short it is, that you will have a safe journey. Do this daily, and over time, you will expect this to happen.
By saying these words, you are attracting into your life the careful drivers and the right circumstances to have a good journey because you are telling the Universe this is what you intend and expect. This is what happens for every segment of your day to which you give intent.
This is a great way to know you can manifest and it’s so easy to fit into your life. Make notes and see what happens over time as you incorporate segment intending into your life.
Over time, you will know that the Universe is working with you to give you what you desire. This will give you the confidence to know that you can manifest your goals and dreams.
