Is Your Subconscious Your Friend?

There are times when we’re doing all the right things to achieve a goal but still not getting what we want. We get frustrated and wonder why nothing is going as it should.

When this happens, we have to discover the blocks at the subconscious level which may be stopping us.

You may want a career change, to be in a relationship, start your own business, etc. Consciously you may think you can change careers but subconsciously there may be doubts – what makes you think you can change career at your age? Or deep down you feel you don’t know enough. For relationships, there may be subconscious fears about trusting someone, getting hurt and so on.

The problem with our subconscious beliefs and fears is that they’re “unvoiced”. Sometimes we don’t even want to admit certain things to ourselves so they stay hidden in the subconscious mind. We pretend everything is OK and keep taking actions to achieve our goals even though we don’t get any closer to achieving them.

We need to work on the resonance between what our conscious and subconscious minds believe and then we know that our goal is on its way. These aspects of our mind have to be in synch and not at odds with each other.

To do this, write down all the beliefs which may be stopping you. This can involve admitting things which may be painful but at least once we do this, we can work on them.

Why would age get in the way of changing careers, people do it all the time. The next relationship can be wonderful if you give it a chance. Try to turn all the negatives into positives and dwell on these.
