From Doubt to Determination: Strategies for Staying Focused on Your Dreams When Challenges Arise

Various techniques, like the Law of Attraction, teach us to stay in the high vibrations of gratitude and joy to manifest our goals. But it’s all too easy to give into the doubts and fears when the actions you take aren’t giving you the results you want.

The days go by, the milestones slip and worry starts to creep in. What can you do to stay positive and on track? take a look below at some steps you can take to maintain your positive outlook.

a) Ensure your goal is clear and specific.

Instead of it being “I want to be fit”, what is a measurable idea of fitness to you – being a certain weight or being able to run 5K? If want your ideal job – what exactly is that? Write down a day in the life of your ideal job and focus on the jobs that would give you that. 

b) We sometimes expect things to happen quickly so practice self-compassion! Don’t beat yourself up if things aren’t going to plan. Acknowledge that setbacks can happen and things can take longer. 

Review your goals and set new timelines if possible. Know that everything is fluid and sometimes you don’t have to set things in stone.  

c) Surrender your goal to the Universe and sense the guidance that comes. In a way, take a step back so that you can see how to accomplish your goal from a different perspective. 

d) Take a look at your “why”- one of the most important parts of any goal.

Write down why this goal is important to you and what it will mean if you can achieve it. Read it every day, pin it on the fridge or a wall. 

The “why” gives you the motivation to carry on. It allows your vibration to jump over fear and doubt and back to the level of taking positive actions. 

e) Do a creative visualisation meditation every day, or every week. This meditation allows you to put yourself into the energy of having accomplished your goal. Doing this means that your vibration starts to remain high. 

Now you’re at the magical place where your expectation and knowing will kick in. Once you’re here, you goal has to manifest. 

Don’t give up hope on your goals. Take a break, implement the suggestions above and feel your energy soar with the belief that you can achieve it
