Manifest Financial Abundance with These Simple Techniques

In the previous blog, you saw how your relationship to money is determined by your beliefs which can block it flowing into your life.

Money is an energy – it flows to whoever is open to it and has a good relationship with it. It’s not good or bad.

Think about this, would you spend time with someone who didn’t want you around? Why would money spend time with you if deep down you don’t like it!

Let Money be Your Friend

The good news is that you can change your relationship to money so that you welcome it into your life with open arms. Below are some exercises you can do to become great friends with money 😊

Reframing Money as an Energy for Good

  1. Write the sentence:

“Money is….” 

  1. Finish that sentence with what comes to mind – scary, stressful, awful. 
  1. The rewrite the sentence above as:

“Money is loving support in physical form.” 

  1. Read the new sentence out loud slowly, three times.
  1. Place your hand on your heart and say:

“I allow money to love and support me.” 

This may be difficult at first but remember you’re changing how you perceive the energy of money. This helps to shift your attitude to money from fear-based thinking to heart-based receiving.  

Do this once or twice a week. See how your sentence changes and how your feelings towards money change as you make these statements regularly.

Connecting Money with Gratitude

To keep money moving energetically.

  1. Each time you spend money, pause and say:

“Thank you for circulating and returning to me multiplied.” 

  1. Each time you receive money, say:

“I receive this with gratitude and openness.” 

  1. Avoid feeling guilt, resentment, or fear because these restrict the flow.

It’s up to us to start thinking and feeling about money differently.  Help free money from the shackles we’ve put around it and send it on with love when you spend it.

Money has an awareness and once you appreciate it, it will return. Just like you want to spend time with the people you have fun with and make you feel good, so does money!

Meditation – Money as Flowing Energy (5 minutes)

This meditation will reprogram your nervous system to feel safe receiving and circulating money.

  1. Sit comfortably, close your eyes and take slow, deep breaths (you may want to place a hand on your heart as you do this).
  1. Imagine breathing in money as a warm, golden energy, not coins or numbers.
  1. As you breathe out, visualise it flowing through your body and through your heart. You can imagine it also dissolving all negative beliefs you have about money.
  1. Silently repeat:

“Money flows to me and through me with ease and love.”

  1. Notice any tension — breathe into it until it softens.

Do this often and sense or journal how your relationships to money changes – does it make you feel more open and trustful of it.

Meditation – Removing Limiting Beliefs About Money (10 minutes)

  1. Find a time where you won’t be disturbed, ideally with peace and quiet around you.
  1. Read the limiting beliefs you’ve written down.
  1. Sit comfortably or lie down and breathe deeply in and out. Feel yourself relaxing more and more with every breath you take.
  1. Visualise or sense those limiting beliefs as brick walls, or a house which is being knocked down with a wrecking ball.  
  1. Smash them into smithereens or anything else which resonates with you.
  1. Then breath in golden or silver light (or any other colour which resonates with you) and breathe it into the space left by the limiting beliefs which you have removed. Do this for a couple of minutes or as long as you want to.
  1. Come out of the meditation and rip up the paper to symbolise you are done with those old beliefs.

Note how you feel now that you have removed those limiting beliefs.

Sometimes these old beliefs are so deep rooted, that you may have to do this meditation a few times. If you’re 30, 40, 50, 60+ years of age, then these beliefs have been with you a long time. But don’t give up, you are in charge and you can clear them.

Try the above techniques to change how you feel towards money. Write down how you feel at the beginning and then after a few weeks of doing these exercises, make more notes.

See if your attitude/feelings have changed over time and how. Is your heart opening more to seeing money as an energy for good which flows to you?

Ultimately, money will flow to you if you have a good relationship with it. Give the intent to be friends with money and see how your life changes.
