With the New Year not too far away, your mind may start turning towards what goals you want to accomplish next year. There are many techniques for goal setting out there, and you can do the usual things like setting milestones and deciding what actions to take when.

But what about the goals where even the “how” escapes you? You want that ideal job but maybe it’s in a different area to where you are, so how do you get there? Or you want to be in a great relationship, yet online dating feels jaded, but what else is there?
This is where you can tap into the power of the Universe and the potentials in the unified field where your dreams exist, as I’ve mentioned previously.
The best way is to really feel like your goal has manifested – remember this is a feeling Universe. See/sense your ideal job, weight, relationship as a vibrating energy in the unified field. Your “job” as it were, is to bring it from the multi-dimensional realm into your 3D life.
How do you do this? By practicing what that potential will feel and look like in your life. Use the techniques below to help you with this.
– Write down a vision of what it looks and feels like.
– Use creative visualization meditation and imagine yourself having accomplished your goal. What does it look, sound, feel like etc.? How is your life now?
– Have a vision board with pictures/photos of what life will be like once you manifest your goal. Imagine this is your life now.
– Start to “wear” the energy of that goal. How will you walk? How much confidence and joy will you feel once it’s in your life? What changes will you welcome into your life once it’s here?
The secret is to “work backwards” as it were. The starting point is to feel and know you already have created it in your life and from that point, you start to take action.
Dr Joe Dispenza in his book “Becoming Supernatural” describes it in a wonderful way. Write down your intentions for your goal – do you want to travel in your new job, how much do you want to earn? What are you looking for in a new partner, what sort of things will you do together, what kind of holidays would you like to take? And then write down how this will make you feel – grateful, loved, empowered?
Use creative visualization and meditate on exactly what you want to manifest and how it will make you feel. Let those wonderful feelings flow through your body and mind, through every cell. As you do this, create the knowing that this goal will manifest. Do this as many times as you want to really know in your body and mind that this goal is happening right now.
It’s like moulding clay into a pot – you are moulding a multi-dimensional energy (your goal) into a 3D manifestation with your feelings and thoughts.
At this point, tap into your intuition or your gut feeling. Say “I give intent to hear, to listen to my intuition, my gut feeling as to what actions to take”. Take the actions you’ve written down but if you feel like going to an event, or doing something which may not even be connected to your goal, do it.
Be consistent with this process. See it as part of the roadmap to manifesting your goal. Meditate every day, maybe just before you fall asleep or as you’re waking up. It’s important to maintain the feeling that it will happen and is happening.
So you’re doing this regularly and after each mediation you feel fabulous and confident. What happens though when there’s no sign of anything happening? At that point you need to look at your limiting beliefs – these are like brick walls which stop the potential manifesting in your life. Or a bouncer who says to that potential, no, you can’t manifest in my life.
For example, you may want a high paying job, but some deep-seated belief says that amount of money is out of your reach, or a belief that good things never happen to you. These are at the subconscious level, so you don’t really know they exist.
I’ll cover in the next blog what steps you can take to overcome these limiting beliefs which prevent that potential from manifesting in your life.
But start right now to write down your intentions for your new goals and how they will make you feel. And just place your mind there for a few moments every day. Get into the feeling tone that it’s already here.
