Express All Your Feelings – Good and Bad!

There’s so much emphasis now on thinking/being positive as much as possible and it is a good thing. But we do get angry, impatient, jealous, etc. and instead of ignoring them because they’re negative, sometimes it’s better to express them. By telling yourself that something which made you angry doesn’t matter, the resentment builds up inside yourself. Repressing such feelings will lead to that energy being stuck in your emotional energy field – you haven’t dealt with it, just ignored it.

Don’t take out your negative feelings on people, but find a safe way to release them. If you are angry or frustrated, scream into a cushion!  Write down your feelings or say it out loud. Give yourself the luxury to say what you want when alone. Any way which allows you to express your feelings means that you are clearing those negative energies from your body.

Being positive is good but life does throw us problems. Burying your head in the sand means that those feelings stay with you at some level. Find how best to express your negative feelings so that you can release them. In this way, your health and outlook will thrive.
