Release Your Stress and Worries with a Full Moon Meditation

The energies of the moon have been used for centuries for ceremony in various ways. My New Moon blog explained how to use these energies to set your intentions and goals for the coming month.

This post is how to use the energies of the full moon to release issues and energies you no longer want or need, e.g. arguments you may have had, problems with work/family and so on.

The full moon signifies completeness, the end of a cycle and so you can use this energy to release any emotions, feelings and thoughts you no longer need. For example:

I release all anxiety about my (job/financial worries/security)”,

I release the anger I feel towards this (person/issue/situation)

You can release your worries, fears, doubts and negativity of any sort.

On the full moon, or a couple of days before or after –

Write down what emotions, issues, situations and feelings you want to release.

Find a quiet place to sit/lie, close your eyes if you wish, and breathe deeply to relax.

Say aloud or silently “I give intent to connect to the Full Moon energy now”.

Feel yourself connecting to the energies of the full moon and see yourself giving everything you want to let go off to that energy – your stress, anxiety, fears, etc.

You can say what you want to release aloud, repeat them silently or just think about them.

You can also visualise a Violet Flame surrounding your entire being and burning away everything you are releasing from your emotional and mental bodies.

Breathe deeply and do this for as long as feels right or 5-10 minutes.

The beauty is that every month you can use the full moon energy to clear your emotional and mental energy fields of all the negative energy they have accumulated such as stress, fears, anxiety and so on.

Life is such that we always have some problems to deal with so work with the full moon regularly to release the energies you no longer need to hold in your body.
