How to be a Money Magnet

Our attitudes and beliefs around money drive how we view wealth and how much we attract into our lives. Can you remember the beliefs your parents/carers had about money as you grew up? Chances are that their beliefs became yours. Were you brought up to think:

Money is hard to come by.

You have to work hard to get money.

People like us never have enough money.

Spend it wisely and not be extravagant.

If that sounds familiar, then your subconscious mind has those beliefs around money which may explain why you don’t attract wealth into your life. If you believe money is hard to come by, then it will be!

Our beliefs are like powerful magnets and to change them requires us to consciously work on them. For example, if you’re always looking to buy the cheapest food, clothes etc. then your mindset is on scarcity and lack.

To change it, imagine having 1000/10,000 pounds/dollars and spending it every day on whatever you want. Does that feel easy or is it hard to even imagine buying expensive things? This will give an indication as to how deep your beliefs run.

To attract wealth, you have to be comfortable with buying/having expensive things. But do you think all rich people are arrogant and self-serving – won’t you become like that if you’re rich? A belief such as this may stop you being wealthy. You can reframe that because there are many wealthy people who are philanthropists and help others.

There are so many attitudes to money that you have to make sure within yourself they are in alignment. Write down all your beliefs about money and discard the ones which leave you in a state of scarcity. Use your imagination to feel amazingly abundant. Exercises like this will start to change your beliefs around money.
