How Your Life Reflects Your Inner Self

There’s a spiritual teaching that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. What this means is that the people and situations around you, reflect aspects of what’s going on inside.

For example, if you find yourself arguing with various people, getting angry, then work out what are you angry at inside. Are you angry at the world, at the way people treat you or even at yourself for some reason? If you find people at work criticising your work, do you at some deep inner level not feel that you are good enough at your job? We’re very good at burying our heads in the sand and not facing up to what issues are inside – they stay hidden in our subconscious minds.

Take some time this week to see what sort of issues and people surround you. Try to work out what may be going on at an inner level for you to have attracted that. We are always emitting a vibration and into our lives come the circumstances which match that vibration.

It can be scary to admit that we’re not good enough, worthy enough or not really content with our life. However, the wonderful thing is that once you do face up to things, you can start to take steps to amend that situation.

We’re not perfect, and that’s OK. Hiding yourself from your imperfections can lead to having a life filled with drama, as you wonder why all these things are happening to you.  But once you face up to them, say work out why you have that anger inside and take steps to release it, your vibration changes and suddenly you don’t attract the same people or circumstances.

If you know people who seem to have a ‘dull’ life with no real problems, these people are probably vibrating with more peace and contentment. Wouldn’t you rather be around people who are happy within themselves as opposed to the ones who are always complaining or negative?

It may seem dull but being at peace with yourself leads to more wellbeing and health in the long run as you attract more positive situations into your life.
