Why Your Mind Chatter Affects What You Create in Life

We all have our internal mind chatter but what you may not know is that it shapes how we act, and the attitudes others perceive us with. For example, is your internal mind chatter telling you that you’re always clumsy, or you’re no good at leading, presenting or staying fit? Do you call yourself an idiot frequently for getting things wrong? Hopefully you can see from this that the internal dialogue here is causing a person to be unsure of themselves and what they can achieve. And since everything is an energy and a vibration, others will pick up on this.  People may be hesitant in giving you a job promotion or putting you in charge of a project because you’re subconsciously emitting that energy of doubt that’s within you.

Conversely, can you think of someone who is very confident in themselves and their abilities? Do you think that their mind chatter continually puts them down? It’s doubtful! Their internal dialogue would be along the lines of “I can do this.”, “I can learn the skills I need to do …”, “I always do a great job at everything I put my mind to”.  Note, there is a fine line about being arrogant at what you can achieve and that acknowledgement with humility that you’re just good at getting things done well 🙂

The Universe reflects back to you your beliefs and thoughts by the situations and people you find in your life. When you know that we are all energy beings emitting a vibration, this makes sense. Calling yourself a fool or an idiot frequently creates a subconscious belief that maybe you’re not the leader that you’d love to be or you can’t achieve what you desire. Deep down, that internal monologue of saying negative things about yourself, impacts your self-belief and what you can accomplish.

People who have positive mind chatter give off that air of confidence which means people believe in them and so on. This then defines how others interact with them. We are always emitting a vibration which others pick up on subconsciously.

Take time to “listen” to your internal dialogue and see which category you fall in. Aim to lessen the negative mind chatter, even better, remove it completely. It’s easy to have low self-worth or low self-esteem if most of the time you’re putting yourself down. But you don’t want to be so full of yourself that people actively avoid you!

If you catch yourself being negative, say “I cancel that thought” and replace it with a more empowering one. Write down the negative statements you say about yourself or your life and work on removing them from your mind chatter – replace them with more positive statements. It takes some commitment to analyse yourself this way, but it’s worth it in the long run. As your self-belief rises, the Universe reflects this back to you with better life situations.

There are many books and resources out there to help you increase your self-esteem and self-worth so find something that works for you and change your internal dialogue/mind chatter to be more positive about yourself and what you can accomplish. Then see how people and situations around you change as you create that inner belief that you can achieve whatever you desire. Because as your vibration and energy changes, so the Universe will reflect this back to you with more positive events in your life.
